The Story People: Storytelling Classes for elder kids (+ fun adults)

The world needs more spaces that encourage people to think, imagine, create, speak and dream freely. This is a place to do just that!
The Story-People’s annual course is a creative space to learn and grow. With a strong emphasis on creative writing, speech, drama and design thinking, at its core this is all about telling a story, and telling it well!

Our yearly program focuses on developing a child’s spoken and written storytelling through individual extracts and poetry recitation, debates and public speaking, writing prompts, games for creative problem solving, team- building and empathy among other designed activities. It also allows children to explore different methods of telling a story through art, puppetry and theatre. At the end of each year we stage a show that children can help to write, create and bring to life, after they have completed 1 year with us. 
Our aim is to expand each child’s world by make them imagine, create and engage with each other in real time, away from technology.
The program also includes story book creation and copywriting for 15 years and above.
