Make Your Own Book Workshop

Come join us in this one of a kind workshop that helps you to bring your unique story to life. With fun and exciting activities, a few simple tricks and amazing industry secrets, we help your imagination take flight so that you can take home some incredible learnings, fresh perspectives, and your own story masterpiece as souvenirs!

Week 1 
Story time: Discuss story ideas, character tropes and develop a direction for the story.

Week 2 
On the market: Formalize your story into a format that is eye-catching and fun to read, (what we call a “marketable story”.)

Week 3 
The technical bit: Learn about the technical aspects of a book such as a blurb, publishing mark and various other small but significant components that make your book complete.

Week 4 
Visual storytelling: Art Direct your visuals and see what styles and pictures suit your book best.

(After the workshop is complete, if you have a fabulous story that you think requires high quality visuals, we also offer the option of having professional illustrations done for you.)
